Origin Information[]

First Origin: Villager[]

Villagers are peaceful traders.

Origin Powers

  • Hired Help — As their primary ability, Villagers can summon an iron golem every 2 minutes.
  • Evade — Escape any dangerous mobs.
  • Birth Place — As Villagers are born in a village, they naturally spawn in one.
  • Night Time — Villagers need their sleep desperately.
  • Large Appetite — Villagers exhaust much quicker than others, thus requiring them to eat more.

Second Origin: Half-Robot[]

Beep. Boop.

Origin Powers

  • Steel Skin — Half-robots' steel skin gives them the feel of a robot and solid metal comes through their blood to become electricity.
  • Laser — Half-robots can shoot a laser that withers people.
  • Effect Immune — Half-robots are not vulnerable to many detrimental potion effects.
  • More Health — Due to their steel metal skin, half-robots have 5 more hearts of health.
  • Strong Arms — Half-robots can break natural stone much faster thanks to their metal fists.
  • Heavy — Half-robots' iron skin strengthens them but slows them down at the same time.
  • Water Breather — Half-robots are part robot so they don't need any oxygen.
  • Unexhausted — Because they are a robot, half-robots won't get exhausted.
  • No Regen — Half-robots will not regenerate any health until they get a regeneration effect.
  • Self Regeneration — Half-robots can activate self regeneration if they don't have enough health.
  • Boiling — Half-robots will overheat in high temperatures.
  • Overheat — A half-robot's player overheats because they're a robot, meaning they take 2 times more fire and lava damage.

Third Origin: Mothling[]

A Mothling is a winged moth-like creature that originally evolved in the taiga biome before adapting and spreading to the rest of the Overworld.

Origin Powers

  • Flight — Mothlings can fly using a mix of gliding and wing propulsion.
  • Lantern Light — Mothlings gain regeneration when near lanterns.
  • Moth-Like Body — Mothlings are smaller and only have seven hearts.
  • Weakening Light — Mothlings get mining fatigue when near soul-lanterns.
  • Armour Weight — Armour weighs Mothlings down, so the most they can wear is a mix of Iron and Chainmail.
  • Moth Diet — Mothlings can only eat Leather and Rabbit Hide.

Fourth Origin: Arachnid[]

Their climbing abilities and the ability to trap their foes in spiderweb make Arachnids perfect hunters.

Origin Powers

  • Climbing — Arachnids are able to climb up any kind of wall, not just ladders.
  • Master of Webs — Arachnids can navigate cobweb perfectly, and are able to climb in them. When they hit an enemy in melee, they get stuck in cobweb for a while. Non-arthropods stuck in cobweb will be sensed by them. They are able to craft cobweb from string.

Weaknesses:

  • Carnivore — Their diet is restricted to meat, so Arachnids can't eat vegetables.
  • Fragile — Arachnids have 3 less hearts of health than humans.

Fifth Origin: Fox[]

The Fox is a sneaky and sly predator.

Origin Powers

  • Sneaky — When sneaking, Foxes turn invisible.
  • Sharp Claws — Foxes deal more damage with their fists.
  • Carnivore — Their diet is restricted to meat, so Foxes can't eat vegetables.
  • Fragile — Foxes have 3 less hearts of health than humans.

Sixth Origin: Forestborn[]

A relative of blazeborns, Forestborns have fallen in love with the mysteries of nature.

Origin Powers

  • Poison Dart — Forestborns are able to wield the poison of the trees to protect themselves. The effects will last for 10 seconds.
  • Float — As a relative of Blazeborns, Forestborns have the ability to float in the air for 10 seconds.
  • Nature's Support — Nature will pick the best carrots in the world and bring them to Forestborns when needed. Perhaps this way, others won't destroy them with their axes.
  • Save Wood — In order to save wood, Forestborns have developed a new way to make a portable crafting table. No more wood on crafting tables!
  • Grass Support — Grass pushes supports Forestborns and makes them faster and stronger while in their territory.
  • Green Skin — Their love for nature made Forestborns green as well.
  • Need Nutrients — Forestborns cannot live in a place without nutrients. They take damage in the desert.
  • Less Hearts — Because they were treated by nature so nicely, Forestborns haven't needed to develop any immunity, meaning they have less hearts than an average player.
  • Hate Axes — Seeing theur trees die in the hands of axes made Forestborns vulnerable to axes as well. They take 10 more damage from iron, gold, diamond, and netherite axes.

Seventh Origin: Zombie[]

Zombies are undead mobs that fight together and don't get along too well with fire.

Origin Powers

  • The Horde — Zombies don't fight fair. Whenever they attack mobs, the hostile mobs in the area will join in the fight.
  • Night Prowler — As Zombies are used to the darkness, they gain night vision.
  • Undead — As an undead, Zombies are immune to various positive and negative effects.
  • Carnivore — Their diet is restricted to meat, so Zombies can't eat vegetables.
  • Starved — Zombies have an insatiable hunger, requiring them to eat much more food.
  • Flammable Body — Zombies don't deal with flames too well and take double damage from them.
  • Combustible — Zombies aren't meant to be in the sun, so they burn in the day.

Eighth Origin: Illusioner[]

Magic!

Origin Powers

  • Star Finger — Illusioners can blind enemies.
  • Bow Master — Illusioners do extra damage with bows. They can also shoot arrows without having them in their inventory.
  • Friendly Foes — Pillagers, who are usually hostile, are friendly to Illusioners.
  • Unpopular — Iron Golems will attack Illusioners on sight, and Villager prices are significantly higher.
  • Phantom Form — Illusioners can switch between a human and phantom form at will, but only when their hunger is saturated enough to sprint.
  • Invisibility — While in Phantom Form, Illusioners are invisible.

Ninth Origin: Thornling[]

Thornlings are small arcane creatures, protected by a strange arcane spell. They don't know where they came from, they just know they exist.

Origin Powers

  • Piercing Thorns — Thornlings are protected by a strange magical aura. When hit, the attacker will get damaged by one heart, which cannot be blocked by any type of armor or shield. This ability can be toggled with the primary ability key. The Thornling is immune to Thorns based damage.
  • Empowered — While wearing a full set of armor with Thorns 3, Thornlings receive 40% less damage.
  • Magical Conductor — Thornlings need magic to live! Wearing any type of armor that isn't gold will slowly wither you away. Since golden armor is very weak, there is a solution; By using gold blocks instead of gold ingots, you can make a reinforced golden armor piece.
  • Dwarf — Thornlings are about 1.4 blocks tall.
  • Punching Bag — Being hit so many times has weakened Thornlings a lot. They have 3 less hearts and deal 10% less damage.
  • Curse of Decay — Wearing, holding, or being hit by anything with a curse enchantment will affect Thornlings with Wither II for 3 seconds.

Tenth Origin: Half-Dragon[]

Be it through a curse or a very brave parent, Half-Dragons are half-human, half-dragon hybrids.

Origin Powers

  • Fire Breath — Half-Dragons can breathe fire upon their enemies!
  • Take Flight — Half-Dragons have powerful wings that can launch them high into the air.
  • Dragon Sense — Half-Dragons can see entities nearby, even through walls!
  • Passives — As a Half-Dragon, they have natural defense. However, being born of the dragons, they are cold-blooded, thus they cannot stay in extreme temperatures for long. They are also chonky and thus take less knockback damage and they drown faster. Half-Dragons are also known to only eat meat and foods that are gilded.

Trivia[]

  • Gem's Mothling skin is based off of a Dryocampa rubicunda, commonly known as a Rosy Maple Moth.
  • Unlike the mothling origin, real Rosy Maple moths do not eat leather or cloth. The larvae of the moths eat leaves from maple trees, their host tree, and the adult moths do not eat at all.
