LaurenZSide, also known as Lauren, is a New York City-based American YouTuber who is a member of the Afterlife SMP. She is known for her playthroughs of various game series, including Minecraft and The Sims. Lauren has several allies throughout the server.

Appearance

As an Avian, Lauren's Minecraft skin is wearing a chicken onesie that covers her whole body except for her face. She has purple hair, amber eyes and a cute pink nose.

As an Enderian, Lauren's skin is dark indigo with a lighter shade fading from her hands and feet. She also has specks of light purple at the bottom of her skin. Her hair remains purple as it normally is, but matches the lighter color of her hands and feet. Her eyes are the same lavender, as is her mouth.

As a Vex, Lauren's skin is a light periwinkle/lavender with light blue wings on her back like an actual vex. She comments on how she unintentionally looks like the Purple Guy from the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise.

As a Candy, Lauren's skin is a modified version of her default skin. Instead of amber eyes, she has big, purple eyes. She is also covered in splattered candy, which seems to be bubble gum.

Origin Information

First Origin: Avian

The Avian race lost their ability to fly a long time ago. Now, these peaceful creatures can be seen gliding from one place to another.

Origin Powers

• Featherweight — Avians fall gently to the ground as a feather would, unless sneaking.
• Fresh Air — When sleeping, Avians must be at an altitude of at least 86 blocks, so they can breathe fresh air.
• Tailwind — Avians walk slighter quicker than others.
• Like Air — This speed buff also applies while airborne.
• Oviparous — Avians lay eggs when they wake up.
• Vegitarian — Avians cannot digest any meat.

Second Origin: Enderian

Born as children of the Ender Dragon, Enderians are capable of teleporting but are vulnerable to water. Enderians are afraid of pumpkins and cannot see anyone when they are wearing one.

Origin Powers

• Teleportation — Whenever they want, Enderians may throw an ender pearl which deals no damage, allowing them to teleport.
• Slender Body — Enderians can reach blocks and entities further away.
• Hydrophobia — Enderians receive damage over time while in contact with water.
• Scared of Gourds — Enderians are scared of pumpkins, for a good reason. (They are unable to see players wearing a Carved Pumpkin. They are also unable to eat Pumpkin Pie.)

Third Origin: Vex

Small spirits full of anger, Vexes are ghosts who have come back to seek revenge on the world.

Origin Powers

• Flight — Vexes have the ability to fly.
• Small — Vexes are 2 times smaller than a human, and their range is lowered.
• Phasing — While phantomized, Vexes can walk through solid material, except obsidian.
• Light Wings — Vexes cannot wear heavy armour while flying due to their small wings.
• Vengeful — Blinded by rage, their enemies become highlighted in red and Vexes become stronger, but they need to be holding an Iron Sword to attack and they exhaust quicker. This ability can only be activated when in phasing form.
• Fragile — Vexes have 3 less hearts of health than humans.
• Large Appetite — Vexes exhaust quicker than others, thus requiring them to eat more.
• Ghostly — Vexes are slightly light-blue and transparent.
• Carnivore — Their diet is restricted to meat, so Vexes can't eat vegetables.
• Featherweight — Vexes fall as gently to the ground as a feather would, unless they sneak.

Fourth Origin: Candy

Candies are sweet, sugar-like entities that have a serious problem with sweet food!

Origin Powers

• • Cake Master — Candies are able to craft cake with nine sugars in a crafting table.
  • Cookie Master — They can also craft cookies with four sugars in the crafting table.
  • Salty Water — Staying in water makes Candies take damage.
  • Sugar Addict — Candies MUST eat sweet food (Pumpkin Pie, Honey, Sweet Berries, Cookies, Cake).
  • Sweet Kit — Candies start the game with some sugar related items.
  • Sugar Eating — When they hold sugar in their off-hand, Candies will automatically eat it and gain 'sugar effects'.
  • Hard Candy — Candies can gain resistance, at the expense of a few food points.
  • Sweet Recipe — Candies can convert nine sweet berries to nine sugar in the crafting table.
  • Favourite Food — Candies get more saturation from cookies than normal.

Trivia

• Currently, Lauren is the only member of the Afterlife SMP to have been an Avian or a Vex.
• Because Scott told her that being an Avian is like being a chicken, she decided to become a chicken while she was an Avian.
• Lauren has an entire chest dedicated to storing her Avian-laid eggs, to which she calls her "children".
• Avian Lauren was scared of Raccoon Lizzie because she discovered after searching on the internet that raccoons attack chickens.
• At the end of her 2nd episode, Lauren concluded into having 4 enemies, namely:
  • Scott, because he made fun of her Avian abilities.
  • Joel, because he called Lauren's biome weird and hideous.
  • Shadow Crawler Shelby, because the server can't sleep because of her powers, which annoyed Lauren into taunting to kill her.
  • Joey, because he almost killed Lauren after defending Shelby.
• She also concluded into having 3 half-enemies, namely:
  • Raccoon Lizzie, because she discovered that raccoons can attack chickens. She mostly calmed the scare after offering trash for Lizzie to eat.
  • Elytrian Sausage, because of him flying which she despised because she can't fly. It died down after Sausage gave her gifts.
  • Villager Gem, because she got scared after Meghan talked about her army of iron golems.
• While her time as an Enderian, Lauren joined a Villain Club orchestrated by Vampire Scott. She was recruited after killing Goolien Lizzie. Though at her 4th life, Goolien Sausage got payback and killed her for killing Lizzie.
• While her time as a Vex, she threatened and killed Fairyborn Katherine because she was jealous of her wings.
